One document to protect your life's work and legacy
“If you don't decide how your assets are divided among your loved ones when you die,
someone else will.”
Shape your legacy
and your memory
When you have a Will in place, you put the people who matter most at the front of the line to inherit your assets and celebrate your legacy.
You make the final decision about how your wealth is distributed: who benefits, and who doesn't.
This shapes how you, and your life's work, will ultimately be remembered.
Protect your children
from beyond the grave
If parents pass away together, a guardian will be appointed by the State who will become responsible for all your children’s daily needs.
That means their food, housing, health care, education and clothing.
If you have your Will prepared by an expert, you can control who that guardian will be.
If not, your children's future hangs in the balance.

Provide for your loved ones
in their darkest hour
When you have a Will, your grieving family and
loved-ones get automatic, legally-protected rights to inherit your assets -
without arguments, disputes or outside intervention.
If you don't have a Will, your life's work may be eroded by taxes, legal delays and outside interference.
Is that what you want?
Stop family disputes
before they happen
If you die without a Will, your family will have to guess what you final wishes were.
Chances are, they won’t agree (this happens all the time).
The resulting turmoil and disputes could easily leave some of your loved ones, including children, out in the cold.
Creating a Will eliminates any unpleasant grey areas.
DYING INTESTATE
If you die without a Will, you die Intestate. This means that the law controls what happens to your assets.
This can have various disastrous consequences.
Not least of which is that your spouse may only receive a child’s portion of your assets. (So for example, if you have four children, your surviving spouse would only keep one fifth of your assets)
Act Now
The good news is that we are living longer - our life expectancy is increasing. However, every day in Botswana around 80 people pass away.
Each one of those people leaves behind dependents and assets:
Livestock, Properties, Vehicles,
Family Heirlooms & Collectables, Investment Assets, Companies
As a successful person, it is common to have complicated finances, particularly if your business and personal finances are intertwined.
You’ll know it is also often a challenge to find the time to give your finances the attention they need.
At SCI Wealth we make your journey easier.
We have a 20 year history of helping people in Botswana make the most of both their business and personal finances.
